This page explains what information OpsPilot processes, why it is used, and how merchants can manage their data when using the app inside Shopify.

Last updated: March 14, 2026

Store operations data

OpsPilot processes Shopify store data needed to power dashboards, workflows, tasks, and alerts.

Workflow execution

Workflow settings, conditions, actions, and run history are stored so automations can execute reliably.

Security controls

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect merchant and integration data.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to merchants and authorized staff who use OpsPilot through Shopify Admin. It describes the information processed by the OpsPilot app and related support channels.

As between OpsPilot and the merchant, the merchant controls the store and customer data made available to the app through Shopify and through connected integrations.

2. Information We Process

Depending on how the app is configured, OpsPilot may process:

  • Merchant and shop identifiers, account details, and staff access data.
  • Shopify operational data such as orders, customers, products, inventory, and checkouts.
  • Workflow definitions, triggers, conditions, actions, schedules, and execution logs.
  • Tasks, notes, attachments, activity history, and in-app settings created by the merchant.
  • Optional integration settings for Slack, Google Sheets, email sender configuration, and branding.

3. How We Use Information

  • To display dashboards, tasks, notes, and workflow configuration inside the app.
  • To run automations, scheduled jobs, alerts, emails, Slack messages, and Google Sheets actions.
  • To provide execution history, troubleshooting, onboarding, and product support.
  • To protect the app, detect misuse, and maintain service reliability and security.

4. Integrations and Third Parties

If you connect Slack, Google Sheets, email infrastructure, or other external services, OpsPilot may send relevant workflow data to those services at your direction so the action can complete.

Information handled by third-party services is also subject to their own terms and privacy practices. OpsPilot does not sell merchant data.

5. Data Retention and Security

OpsPilot keeps data for as long as needed to operate the app, maintain workflow history, provide support, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect data from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

No online system can guarantee absolute security, so merchants should also protect Shopify accounts, staff access, and connected services.

6. Merchant Choices

  • Merchants can update workflow settings, integrations, and operational data inside the app.
  • Merchants can disconnect integrations that are no longer needed.
  • Requests relating to access, correction, or deletion can be sent to support.

7. Contact
